Terms & Conditions

By hiring from The Journey Wedding, you agree to our Terms & Conditions of Hire.

Service Location

We mostly service the greater Auckland area, but would be happy to travel to other areas within the North Island as long as the travel fee is covered by clients. For all the decorations we provide free setup, installation and styling, but extra travel fee would be charged for some remote areas;

PAYMENT POLICY

  • We charge 50% as a deposit which is required when the booking is confirmed.

  • Your booking will only be confirmed and secured once we received the deposit payment.

  • Early booking and payment of your deposit will guarantee the time availability and items you prefer. Therefore, we advise that you book as soon as possible.

  • 50% of the deposit is refundable if you cancel your booking one month prior to the setting date.

  • The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least ONE week prior to your setting date; we will be in touch to remind you.

  • Booking details cen be amended up to 20 days before your booking date. You may incur an extra fee if you make changes in the last week prior to your booking date as we may need to re-arrange everything for you.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Please advise us of all cancellations as soon as you can. We hold your props booking for you in good faith that you are hiring the items and we turn away other bookings for your date and time. Therefore, we do not have the opportunity to re-arrange items if it is too close to the event date. We will not make changes to bookings inside 14 days from the date of event.

 

The following cancellation charges apply:

 

  • 30 days or more from your event date: 50% deposit will be refunded;

  • 14-29 days from your event date: 25% deposit will be refunded;

  • Cancellation within 14 days from your event date: none refundable;

 

Please note that we MUST be notified of any cancellations/changes to bookings through emails or FB messenger.

COVID-19 RELATED POLICY

  • We could postpone your booking due to COVID-19 levels moving up or down FREE OF CHARGE to a new date (the date must be mutually agreeable).

  • We can hold the credit for you and you are able to use it anytime in the future with no time limits.

  • Note that if you cancel your booking due to COVID-19 situation, 50% of your deposit is non-refundable.
